Review: Maybelline Clear Smooth Minerals B.B. Cream

I know that it took me like years to blog about something. It is not about me being lazy or has nothing to blog about. I just got well from last week's sickness. Enough of the not-so-good thought. I am thinking of blogging about it, anyways.

Moving on to the star of this post, the Maybelline BB Cream. I got this about a month a go and immediately gave it a try. I am not after its coverage, I wanted its promise to even out skintone. I once pricked a pimple on my left cheek and it left a humongous scar. I even had to wear foundation every single day just to cover my act of shame. I read in articles that blemish balm creams help in lightening scars and other skin blemishes, so I researched about what brands are most effective. When I saw the prices and local availability, I was like, "Are you kidding me?" The prices I saw were like P1000 to P2000. Some of the brands are not available locally so I have to pre-order Korean brands (which, by the way, are famous in their BB creams) from online sellers. I don't see myself purchasing those expensive products (for a student, at least) so I went to the nearest malls to check out possible less priced BB creams. And then I found this baby! :)

Product says:

What Jes likes:

• Inexpensive for only P299.00 per 18ml
• Has light to medium coverage
• Whitened and evened out the color of the scars on my face
• Has SPF
• Moisturizing
• No scent
• Easy to apply
• Very light on the face
• Small packaging fits perfectly in my kit
• Squeeze out opening = hygienic
• Available in all Maybelline stalls

What Jes doesn't like:

• Only one shade available
• Only one size available
• Has tiny little particles that shines whenever camera flashes strike my face

Notes:

I love how this BB cream is very inexpensive and works well like those expensive brands. I just don't like that it is only available in 18ml packs. How about those that plan to buy much larger packaging? Also, it may not suit all skin type. I mean, there should be at least 3 shades available to compliment that skin types of  the Filipinas. It is very noticeable that the pimple scars on my left cheek faded away. YEEEES! I so love this product and I use it almost everyday!

Will Jes repurchase?
Yes, definitely! I hope to even out further my uneven skin tone. :)
