E has been a constant mention on this blog. Most of the products I review and use come from her business. Yes, she is my businesswoman friend. When I say business, it is her various dealing commitments. She has many! Avon, Natasha, Boardwalk. Name it, she definitely has it. Haha!
E is not new to make-up. Because of her VERY thin and sparse brows, she started 'drawing' them when she was in high school. Up to now, she still does it but with a practice-makes-perfect application. Actually, she does it real good. The only problem I see is that she draws it way too defined. So one day, I decided to make her up. I planned to redefine her brows in a different way and make her look as if she is attending a party (let it be graduation, prom or just a birthday).
Problems:
Problems:
- uneven skintone
- blemishes
- VERY thin and sparse brows
- puffy and dark undereyes
Status:
According to her, she still hasn't find the perfect eyebrow kit/liner/pencil. She finds her previous eyebrow products as browns with red undertone (She once went to school with maroon brows which she blamed to her eyebrow pencil). She is currently using SanSan Eyebrow Pencil in 03 (dark brown) which she describes as the pencil that has the perfect shade but does not last long.
Jes' Plans and Ideas:
- Make her brows thicker and less defined than she usually does
- Dramatic make-up for parties and events
BEFORE:
Procedures:
1. I applied foundation and concealed imperfections. I layered the foundation on the areas that needs extra coverage like the undereyes and chin.
2. I trimmed the brows and plucked stray hairs.
3. I redefined her brows. I made it thicker and a bit darker.
4. I applied a white shimmering eyeshadow all-over her eyelid.
5. Then, I applied a dark brown eyeshadow on the crease area. I made sure I blended it well to avoid it looking muddy.
6. With a navy blue eyeshadow, I intensified the outer V and the inner part of her eyes.
7. I lined the eyes with a black gel liner. I also lined the waterline for more drama.
8. I put on false lashes.
9. I just dust her cheeks with a light pink blush and finish it all off with pink lipstick. :)
AFTER:
I really love how the look turned out. The thicker brows suited her pretty well!
