Happy Friday everyone! I'll be heading out in a bit and I want to have a quick post. Also, the battery of my laptop is running low. It only has 58 minutes to go while I am typing this. Please bear with me in case there will typo errors or grammatically incorrect statements. My fingers are doing their blogging job very fast! :)
I bought the Nichido True Colors Collection Single Eyeshadow in Sea Shell because I want to have the perfect highlighter without opening a palette. I have been religiously using the BonBon eyeshadow palette my aunt sent me from Italy for highlighting my browbones and inner tearducts. Since it is a palette, I find it tedious to open it every time I am putting on make up. There are time that I want to go out with just defined eyebrows, blush, and a lip tint so opening a palette just for highlight is a hard thing to do.
I got this from Watson and costs only Php68.00. I didn't hesitate to try this out since it is very affordable. I am also in the mood of collecting single eyeshadow pots and this is my first victim. I find it cute to have many single eyeshadows. :) If I am not mistaken, there are more than 10 shades available. I may get the others soon.
It looks like this when swatched:
What I like:
What I don't like:
Will I repurchase?
Honestly, I don't know. I think that it works good for its price but I am planning to look for another inexpensive single eyeshadows. For now, I will still use it but the other shades should wait until I find NO cheap alternative. :)
Have you tried these eyeshadows from Nichido? How do you find it?

What I like:
- Inexpensive
- Packaging fits well in my kit
- No allergic reactions
- Available in many other shades
- Can easily be bought from any Nichido stalls
- It has a little shimmer that gives it a kick
What I don't like:
- Pigmentation is not that good but is buildable -- That is what to expect for its price.
- The price is pasted on the side where the name of the shade is located. After I puled off the price tag, the label was also ruined.
- Powdery -- It can cause fall outs.
Notes:
- I use this as a highlight.
- It would be better if the price is not pasted on the label so people can easily see the name of the shade.
- The shimmer it has adds some boost on the color.
Will I repurchase?

I have their violet shade, and I agree that it's very powdery. I haven't tried them myself, but I've heard good things about F21's eyeshadows.
ReplyDeleteUgh I also hate it when they put the bar sticker on the item itself :/
ReplyDeleteThe only thing I have from Nichido is their lash glue. Hehe
I haven't been using any highlight colors for a while now.. =D your post just makes me wanna whip up an eyeshadow put and put some on my tearducts straight away.. I'm a fan of bright eyes but finding myself always forgetting to do it.. Nice post btw. =) We don't hv this brand in Watsons over here..
ReplyDelete@DeBi - I love palettes too but there are times that I don't want to open a palette just for highlight. :)
ReplyDelete@Iya - How do you find the eyeshadow, dear?
@Photoescape - What is the foundation, babe? :)
@Dee - I heard so many good things about F21 palette too. I am actually torn between that and the 88-eyeshadow palette. What do you think?
@Aya - Yeah! I don't like to ruin the packaging.
@Aisyah - Hi! I think this brand is only available here in the Philippines. :)
I have never tried this before and too bad that it's chalky. I'm eyeing the elianto single shadows. The matte ones are amazing and they're only about 40 pesos more compared to this. :)
ReplyDelete@Michelle - Really? :) But I can't seem to find Elianto stalls. :(
ReplyDeleteyou give ELF eyeshadows a try, I'm sure you won't regret it. The pigmentation is just awesome.

ReplyDeleteNice blog~ I am your newest follower!!
@Marge - I haven't tried their lash glue. I think that it is quite pricey for its size. Does it work good?
ReplyDelete@Rainy Days and Lattes - I think so too. For now, this baby is just for highlight. :)
@Chococurro - I believe this brand is only available in the Philippines. :( Thanks, babe. I followed you back. :)
Oooh I like this very much :D
ReplyDelete60 bucks yung lash glue, keri naman, it can get pretty tacky so it works well ;-)
ReplyDelete@Marge - I'll try it! I am using the Aido Eye Putti, it's a hit and miss so I am still looking for an alternative. :) Thanks!
