Look: Enchanted Evening

A great Monday, everyone!

I am so excited for the coming weekend! My friends and I will be going to Subic for a day of getaway. That will our first out-of-town trip for 2012 and I look forward for more! 

Before I get crazy of excitement, here is a look I created with the Human Nature Mineral Eyeshadow in Enchanted Evening. I have this palette for quite some time now but only had the chance to use it a couple of weeks back. This Enchanted Evening Look is perfect for date nights or whenever you feel enchanted. :)

Here is the eyeshadow palette I used. Everything is in purple hue, perfect for bringing out the sexiness of the eyes. The eyeshadows do not have great pigmentation so better be equipped with a good eyeshadow primer/base. 

I numbered the eyeshadows from 1 to 3 for easier instructions. You don't have to use the exact palette for this makeup look. If you have eyeshadows that are have similar shades, feel free to use those.

START:

1. Apply foundation and conceal imperfections.

2. Redefine eyebrows. -- For a sexier feel, I made my eyebrows thinner and darker than usual.

3. Prime the eyelids. Blend smoothly. -- For better color pay-off, you may also apply a cream eyeshadow.

4. Pat on e/s # 2 all over the lid. -- Don't worry about blending at this point.

5. Add more color if you want to.

6. Brush on the same e/s on the outer 2/3 of the lower lash line.

7. Trace the crease with e/s 1 and blend upwards. -- Blending upwards will ensure that color will show even with the eyes open.

8. Pat on more color to intensify the crease area. Define the outer V with the same eyeshadow. Blend.

9. Line the outer lash line with the same e/s.

10. Highlight inner tearducts and the browbones with e/s # 3.

11. With a black kohl liner, line the eyes and the waterline.

12. Curl lashes and apply a generous amount of mascara.

13. Apply a peach-toned blush on the apples of the cheeks.

14. Lastly, apply a pale pink lipstick. You may top it off with a lip gloss if you wish to.

There you go, a simple date night look! Look enchanted and sexy using just one palette! :)
