Happy hearts day, everyone! :)
I hope you're sharing this wonderful day with your loved one. As for me, I will be waiting for Edge to come home from work and see what we'll have from there. Maybe we won't be going out as I hate traffic and long queues on restaurants!
If ever you'll be going out on a date, make sure to be extra beautiful. One way to glam up is to use an eyeliner to open up and add drama to your eyes. I am currently using ELF Studio Cream Eyeliner in Black and I think it's about time I'll share you my thoughts about it.
It is sold at ELF local counters for only Php249.00.
Yes, a cutie-patootie slanted eyeliner brush is included in the packaging. I believe this cream eyeliner is available in other shades but I chose the usual black among others. I'll be getting the white one next!
ELF Studio Cream Eyeliner:
Directions: Dip a thin brush into the formula, swirl around gently until brush is saturated with color. Swipe off any excess formula on top edge of the pot. Trace a line along the top lash line from the inner corner towards the outer corner of the eye. If desired, apply on the lower lash line as well. Remove with an eye makeup remover.Create smooth lines that are defined and precise.Smudge-proof, budge-proof, water-resistant coverage.Achieve thin or bold lined eyes with ease.
One trick to sport a perfect cat eye is too work with a creamy formula which the ELF Studio Cream Eyeliner delivers. I love how it glides on smoothly on the eyes without the need of tugging.
It claims to be smudge-proof, smudge-proof and water-resistant so I submitted it on a road test. I drew 2 lines (one thin and one thick) at the back of my hand and allowed it to set.
I then put it under running water to see if it'll move. I was amazed that it stayed on pretty good!
The last test I did was to rub it softly. See what happened to it.
The color did shed off a little but it wasn't remove! Amazing, huh? :)
I am using this eyeliner for weeks now and I must say, I am in love with it! I love how it stays on for long hours and how it keeps itself from smudging!
What I LIKE about it:
- Inexpensive -- For only Php249.00, you'll get 4.7g of product.
- Creamy consistency
- Glides on very smoothly -- No tugging of the eyes needed!
- Dries/sets quickly
- Does not smudge
- Does not budge
- Long-wearing
- Water-resistant
- Does not transfer when put on top lids
- Cute packaging
- No eye irritations were experienced. :)
- Easy to remove with an oil-based makeup remover
- Available in local ELF counters and online shops
- Available in other shades (Coffee, Midnight Blue and Ivory)
What I DON'T LIKE about it:
- The eyeliner brush it comes with works but not as awesome as my slanted eyeliner brush from Charm. -- What to expect?
- Does not stay long on the waterline and on the lower lash line
- Does not appear as dark as other gel eyeliners
Will I repurchase?
YES! I am meaning to get the white one! :)
Notes:
- To achieve a perfect cat eye, invest in a good eyeliner brush. Try the ones from Charm!
- Don't be afraid to apply a second coat if needed, it won't smudge. :)
- This can be used as an eyeshadow base.
I used this when we watched The Vow and I was afraid that I'll end up with a raccoon-looking eyes after shedding some tears. After the movie, I got a mirror to see and fix the smudging but I was ecstatic to see nothing! Perfect! :)
I am planning to do a "How to Create a Perfect Cat Eye" kind of post, what do you think? I'll sure be using this cream eyeliner!
