I have this thinking that blush need not to be expensive. The ones that cost less than Php100 (High five to drugstore blushes!) sometimes work better than those on the pricier end. But if a high-end blush is given to me for free, who am I to refuse? :)
I got the Bobbi Brown Blush in Pale Pink as part of my winnings from Phoebe Ann of Bite. Luxe. Snap. Wander.'s Birthday Giveaway. Yes, it was last year! It took me a while to take this out of my stash and start using it because the best ones need to be kept away from dust. Joke!
It looks very intimidating on the pan. You know how much I hate overdone blushes and I feared that this blush will subject me to one of my pet peeves.
Silky formula glides on smoothly and offers a matte finish with long-lasting wear. Comes in this sleek, flip-top compact that can be used individually or assembled into palettes (sold separately).
Just by being extra careful in application, this blush definitely gives a great-looking flush.
What I LIKE about it:
- The sleek, flip-top compact fits perfectly in my kit.
- VERY pigmented
- Long-lasting
- Gives me a natural-looking flush
- Glides on smoothly
- Can be assembled into palettes
- Available in 15 lovely shades -- Nude Peach, Almond, Apricot, Nude Pink, Blushed, Cranberry, Desert Pink, Desert Rose, Nectar, Pale Pink, Peony, Plum, Sand Pink, Slopes, and Tawny.
- Available locally
What I DON'T LIKE about it:
- Expensive! -- Each costs $24.00 or about Php1,000.00++.
Will I repurchase?
NO! I love it but it's too expensive for a blush! :(
Note: This blush is very pigmented so make sure to blend, blend, and blend!
I love it, very much, but I don't know if I'll be crazy enough to buy more of this kind. I am sticking to my belief that good blushes need not to be expensive. :)
Have you tried the blushes from Bobbi Brown? :)
