L'Oreal HiP Shine Struck Liquid Color in Arresting

The intense heat in our country probably hinders us to wear makeup even if we badly want to. I know friends who could definitely go out without putting anything on their face. For me, I can skip the foundation and blush (the heat can give us a natural flush, by the way!) but I cannot go out without my eyebrows and my bright lips.

When I received the L'Oreal HIP Shine Struck Liquid Color in Arresting from MakeupHOLICS, I was ecstatic. I was looking a for pink-purple kind of bright lipstick for the longest time and Arresting is just the perfect fix!

HIP stands for High Intensity Pigments which was reflected by this lipcolor. With just one swipe, you'll get an opaque bold color.

Just like the usual liquid lipcolor, L'Oreal HiP Shine Struck Liquid Lipcolor is housed in a conventional lipgloss tube with a doe-like applicator which was perfect for reaching to the corners of the lips.

What I LIKE about it:

• Affordable -- Only Php250.00 in MakeupHOLICS! :)
• Very pigmented -- One swipe is enough to give an opaque color.
• Not sticky
• Stains the lips that stays on for a long time
• Smells and tastes like candy/cake! -- Yum!
• Lipcolor and lipgloss in one!
• Arresting is a perfect summer color -- For me, at least. Haha!
• Locally available through MakeupHOLICS.

What I DON'T LIKE about it:

• It does not set so it has the tendency to stain the teeth. :(
• Some may find it too shiny for everyday lip color. -- Not much of a problem for me, though.
