Born Pretty Store | 12 Colors Shimmer Glitter Eyeshadow

A couple of weeks ago, I was contacted by a representative of Born Pretty Store (Hi, Nicole!) and asked me  if I could review one their products. Born Pretty Store is a nail art retailer specializing in nail art items and cosmetics. She recommended me some of their products and without a doubt, I chose the 12 Colors Shimmer Glitter Eyeshadows.

I am never experimental when it comes to glitters because I think it is just too much. But I should admit that some events and makeup looks call for shine, shimmers, and glitters, the reason why I chose this set. It is about time I incorporate some sparkly little thingies in some of my makeup looks.

And just what I expected, the 12 pots that came in shout glitters and colors! Eight out of 12 are glitter eyeshadows while the remaining 4 are shimmery eyeshadows in loose form. 

Here are the swatches: The swatches were done with just one swipe each. No primers and bases underneath.

What I LIKE about it:

• You get 12 eyeshadows for an affordable price of $7.59 or about Php322.00!
• Superb pigmentation
• Fun, playful colors!
• The glitters adhere to the eyelids even without a primer or a cream base underneath.
• Stays on for long hours, even without a primer.

What I DON'T LIKE about it:

• Messy to use -- Any makeup in loose form is messy to use and apply!
• Has too many fall outs. -- Again, that is normal with makeup in loose form.

Will I repurchase?

NO, this set will sure last a long time!

Notes:

1. For better glitter adherence, apply a cream base/cream eyeshadow or a glitter glue on the eyelids prior to glitter eyeshadow application.
2. To avoid fall outs, use a patting motion.
