Happy weekend, loves! How do you plan to spend your weekend? I was planning to head down south for an event. Good thing, it was moved on Monday because I am feeling a bit sickly. Maybe, I should just tuck myself in and recharge.
Anyways, here's my review on the Wet n' Wild Megalast Lipsticks that I use on those days when I feel weak and look pale. Bea of The Vanity Zone (Thank you so much, Bea!) may have felt my need to look alive and kicking because she sent me bold shades like Cherry Picking and Don't Blink Pink.
What I LIKE:
- gives of an opaque finish even with just one swipe -- but I want it to be that bold so I give my lips two good swipes
- glides on smoothly on the lips
- the shades Cherry Picking and Don't Blink Pink are so lovely!
- no pungent smell
- no weird taste
- stays on longer than other lipsticks, around 6-8 hours -- No need for frequent reapplication!
- leaves a stain on the lips even after eating or drinking
- the transparent cap makes it easier to see the shade
- locallly available through department stores and online shops (Insider's Note: The Vanity Zone sells Wet n' Wild Megalast Lipsticks for only Php200.00 each tube).
What I DON'T LIKE:
- the lipstick doesn't go all the way down the tube
- drying
Will I repurchase?
Yes!
Tip:
Since it is very drying, use a lip balm prior to application.

One of my students screamed when she saw me wearing this lipstick. "Look at Ms. Jessa's lips! Very Nicki Minaj!" Haha! Indeed, Don't Blink Pink appears to be a bright pink lipstick. I love how it is a statement by itself!
I can't wait to have the other shades of the Wet n' Wild Megalast Lipsticks. I am actually eyeing on the shades Smokin' Hot Pink, Mauve Outta Here and Purty Persimmon. I heard that The Vanity Zone will soon have more shades, so better check out the shop now!

I have this in Rose-Bud, a medium pink, and I love it! I don't find it drying, but it does settle into lines and cracks if your lips are already dry. It's good that this product has no taste and scent, no?
