Lining the eyes is quite a trick. I know a handful of friends who admits that they can't do even liners or worst, they really can't line their eyes. Honestly, applying an eyeliner requires, aside from skills, a good eyeliner. For newbies, an eyeliner pen is great tool to work with. It is easier to maneuver (compared to brushes) and is precise in creating lines.
Just recently I was introduced to an eyeliner that will sure be a great help to those starting with makeup and to those who are still having a hard time lining their eyes -- the Artdeco Sensitive Fine Liner.
Sensitive Fine Liner -- is a deep black, liquid eyeliner with a delicate foam tip. The ergonomically shaped molded grip enables you to apply effortlessly and evenly to the eyelid line, leaving a silky matte finish. The highly-pigmented, long-lasting texture is smudge-proof and water-resistant. Store the liner as horizontally as possible and close after use to prevent it from drying out. Suitable for sensitive eyes and contact lens wearers. Contains no mineral oils and parabens.
What I LIKE:
- The molded grip allows me to hold and maneuver the pen with ease.
- It gives an opaque, silky matte black finish in one go.
- The felt tip creates precise lines.
- It dries in about 5 seconds.
- It is very easy to remove.
- It is safe for contact lens wearers (like me!).
- Does not look rubbery on the eyes.
- It is very affordable for only Php450.00 at Beauty Bar stores.
What I DON'T LIKE:
- The color fades after about 6 hours, especially when worn without a primer underneath.
- It is not waterproof.
- It has the tendency to settle on the lines of the eyes.
Will I repurchase?
No.

This is how it fares on me.
Sadly, after about 6 hours of use, the liner turns out to look like this on me.
I have already found my holy grail eyeliner two years ago and I was hoping that something cheaper will replace it, but no. Apparently, the critic in me was not pleased by the performance of Artdeco Sensitive Fine Liner. Don't get me wrong, though. It is not a terrible eyeliner. It is good, actually, especially if you are starting to learn how to properly line your eyes. I am still using it but I make sure I apply a good eye primer underneath it to avoid fading.
