Celeteque Hydrolyzed Moisturizing Mist | Review

The intense heat, continuous sleepless nights, and over-fatigue have taken the toll on my already dry skin. Despite the continuous use of the moisturizer which does a great work in keeping my skin moisturized, my skin feels dry at the end of the day. I can always reapply my moisturizer but the problem arises when I have heavy make-up on. I cannot just slather on moisturizer without affecting the makeup. I have always wished for a moisturizer in spray form that I can use anytime I want on top of my makeup. Celeteque might have heard my wish because they respond even before I check out their counters.

I got my Celeteque Hydrolyzed Moisturizing Mist as a sample from Sampleroom. Honestly, I was a bit apprehensive in trying the product just because it might not be enough to moisturize my skin and might ruin my makeup in case I’ll use it on top of it. But because my skin badly needed it that time (and because it’s full-sized is free on Sampleroom), I got myself one.

I don’t have much expectation about it since I only wanted something that would alleviate the way I deal with my dry skin during the day. Little did I know that this spray-on moisturizer would be a staple in my bag. The spray-on technique is brilliant since I can just it on top of my makeup. But I disobey the instructions in a way that I don’t pat it with a cloth to dry. I just let it dry on its own. It doesn’t ruin my makeup in whatever way. It doesn’t make my eyeliner smear nor my foundation fade. It just goes deep into the skin and does it job.

But given all the things I like about it, I don’t think that this moisturizer is enough for everyday use. I find it to be good for an immediate relief but not for a long-lasting one. Also, don’t expect that this would do drastic changes on extremely dry skin. It would just help in minimizing the appearance of dry skin for some time during the day.

I like it and I will sure repurchase. I will not replace my daily moisturizer for this one though. I’ll just keep it in my bag and use it in case my skin calls for it.
