Review: Colour Collection Vitamin E Matte Lipstick in Kissmark

I am not new to Colour Collection, especially to their lipsticks. I have used and reviewed a handful of them way back and so far, I have nothing but good words for the brand. For reference, here are the reviews I did:

I was giddy when Sample Room sent me 3 lipsticks from the brand's newest line, the Colour Collection Vitamin E lipsticks. Since I am a sucker for bold and loud lipsticks, I tried the matte lipstick in Kissmark first.

A luxurious matte lipstick that wraps lips with conditioning color. Infused with Vitamin E and protective sunscreen to soften lips, smoothen lines and prevent chapping.

I am poor with color description but I can say that Kissmark shouts girly. It is a matte, bright, slightly neon pink lipstick with a hint of blue undertone. I tried my best to describe it! :)

It is bright. It is bold. It is pink. It is so me!

One may need a lot of courage to wear this because it can get a lot of attention. Its brightness can be too overwhelming but still appropriate for day time wear. It looks good when worn with a winged eyeliner. Whenever I do that look, compliments from other people are expected to come my way.

I LIKE that it...

• gives an intense, bright pink color in a single swipe.
• glides on smoothly on lips.
• stays on for about 4-5 hours and leaves a stain after eating or drinking.
• is infused with Vitamin E.
• is housed in an elegant-looking black tube.
• smells good compared to other lipsticks.
• is not as drying as the usual matte lipsticks.
• is inexpensive for only Php330.00.

I DON'T LIKE that it...

• is not widely available for purchase.
• can exaggerate the dryness of the lips when worn without a lip balm underneath.
• settles on fine lines of the lips.

Will I repurchase?

Maybe.

If you're looking for a bright pink lipstick in a very affordable price, go for Colour Collection Vitamin E Matte Lipstick in Kissmark. It can be a bit drying on the lips but as remedy, apply a good amount of lip balm prior to lipstick application.
