Avon Color Fold-Up Palette

Still undecided on what to give your makeup lover friends and relatives this Christmas? Giving makeup as gifts can be really tricky. "What does she need?", "What shade/s does she like?", "Is she a lipstick or an eyeshadow kind of girl?" is just some of the many questions you have to answer before giving makeup as gifts. Let's us look at the in depth of the Avon Color Fold-up Palette, shall we?

The lower fold opens to the blushes, applicators and eyeshadows. I honestly loved the idea of a fold-up palette because it saves space in my kit while containing almost all that I need to paint my mug.

Each eyeshadow is housed in a 2 cm x 1.5 cm pan. All has shines and sparkles, making it scream Christmas yet still wearable on normal days.

For the colors to pop, make sure to apply a good amount of eyeshadow primer/base. Some of the colors look the same, but on closer look, they have slight differences on undertones. Don't worry much on the shines and sparkles, they don't appear as noticeable on the lids especially when you blend properly. 

Like the eyeshadows, the blushes have a bit of sparkles and are very pigmented! The colors can be used alone or mixed with other shades to achieve the perfect-looking flush!

The kit has 3 applicators -- 1 blush brush , 1 dual-ended lip brush and 1 dual-ended eyeshadow sponge. These are okay, honestly, but don't expect splendid application and blending. Yes, I am suggesting to still use your trusty makeup brushes.

The upper half holds the 18 lip glosses and the mirror. The lip glosses are each placed on a pan as big as the eyeshadows. And yes, these glosses also have those shiny bits of sparkles! 

If you or your friend/relative is a lip gloss kind of girl, then these 18 lip glosses will surely be heaven. Each is pigmented enough to be used alone and is perfect to glam up a lipstick.
