As I was savoring every minute of the 3-week vacation from work (one of the perks of being a teacher), I made sure to have my much-needed me-time at least twice a week. One of the things I did was to put on a facial mask while relaxing. Oh yeah, those times are the bomb! Anyway, one of the facial masks I used is The Face Shop Collagen Essential Mask Sheet given to me by Anya of A Style Me Pretty. A Style Me Pretty sells authentic The Face Shop, Baviphat, and Skin 79 in much cheaper prices!
I have friends who swear by the effectiveness of Asian facial masks, specifically the Korean ones, which gave me high hopes with this one from The Face Shop.

A lifting and moisturizing mask sheet for smooth and light absorption and intensive effects of collagen.
Just like the usual mask sheets, it has ridiculously huge opening for the mouth. I wasn't mad when the photo above was taken. I had do that face to make sure the sheet won't fall off my face.
I LIKE that it ...
- is inexpensive. It costs less than Php100.00.
- moisturizes and refreshes my skin right after use.
- keeps my skin moisturized for about 3 days.
- has cooling effect that relaxes my skin.
- (somehow) brightens my skin.
- is available locally.
I DON'T LIKE that it ...
- has a strong alcohol scent. I like the smell of alcohol but the scent it has is way beyond my liking.
- is soaking wet. It drips that makes it messy to use.
- is too big/long for my face.
Will I repurchase?
No.
This is how my skin looked 2 days after I use the The Face Shop Collagen Essential Mask Sheet. I liked how my face looks moisturized and healthy.
Though I am fan of facial masks, I think I need to say pass to another round of The Face Shop Collagen Essential Mask Sheet. It is generally good but I don't like the overwhelming amount of alcohol and essence it has. I am not closing my doors in trying other The Face Shops facial masks and mask sheets though. I still have this high hopes that the others are way better than this one.
What facial mask(s) would you suggest for me to try? :)
