“It is always important to know when something has reached its end.
Closing circles, shutting doors, finishing chapters, it doesn't matter
what we call it; what matters is to leave in the past those moments in
life that are over.”
-- Paulo Coelho, The Zahir
Being a teacher is not a walk in the park. It is so d*** hard, I tell you, but I don't regret being in this field one bit. Not everyone is given a chance to spend 10 months molding a child's character, facilitating his/her learning, and guiding him/her to the rightful path. I feel so privileged to be doing this kind of job. It may not be financially-rewarding but it is more than fulfilling.
On the lighter side, this was the look I wore on our school's moving up/graduation ceremonies. Blue was the color assigned for the faculty so it was a great time to give this dress from Romwe a spin.
Dress: Romwe | Shoes: Gift |
I have a curve-less (otap-like, actually) body so I had to fake wider, sexy hip with a padding. I wore a padded inner garment and I am not ashamed of it. Thank goodness for these things! If only I have a bigger front, this dress would have been perfect on me.
I kept everything in minimal. I just wore a pair of pearl earrings from Avon and a funky OPS! Love bracelet from Ops!Objects.
For the makeup, I went with my usual neutral smokey eye paired with cherry red lipstick. The lighting in the room washed the color off but the makeup was deeper, darker and fiercer in person.
