Burt's Bees Lip Shimmer | Review and Swatches

Do you want some color on your lips but you find lipsticks to be too overwhelming? Tinted lip balms will definitely be the answer to your calls. Just recently, Sample Room had a good run of Burt's Bees Lip Shimmers and I was too lucky to receive all 5 shades available to try. I hope you got one for yourself!

Burt's Bees Lip Shimmers are dubbed to nourish and moisturize lips while giving them a luscious color. Well, I couldn't agree more! These lip shimmers are the bomb if you want something that gives color and moisturizes in one tube. 

I LIKE that it ...

• moisturizes my lips.
• is packed with Vitamin E that nourishes the lips.
• glides smoothly on the lips.
• has tiny shimmers that make the lips look full.
• it gives luscious color that stays for hours.
• has peppermint flavor that invigorates.
• leaves a natural-looking stain on the lips.
• is small enough to fit in the kit.
• comes in a retractable tube.
• is available locally in all Beauty Bar stores nationwide.

I DON'T LIKE that it ...

•  doesn't retract back causing the lip shimmers to break.

These swatches were done with just one swipe each. Amazing color payoff, right?

These is how each shade looks on my lips. The shades Rhubarb and Watermelon are my favorites! I use Caramel on top of a matte nude lipstick to amp the look a bit. It works perfect, I tell you. Fig gives my lips a sort of MLBB color while Raisin looks good under a red lipstick. Under, yes. For some reasons, it helps with the staying power of the red lipsticks.

 

Some may find the Burt's Bees Lip Shimmers to be expensive at Php395.00 for 2.6 grams of product. I find the price fairly okay given how awesome it works! These lip shimmers are already staples in my bags and kits. For days I find lipsticks to be too bold and overwhelming, expect me to reach out for one of my Burt's Bees Lip Shimmers to give color to my lips. The way it moisturizes and colors my lips is too amazing I just couldn't put it into words!

Let us all pray and wish that Sample Room will have a re-run of these babies! Don't fret if they won't because I heard there would be a run of another amazing product/s from Burt's Bees! I am beyond excited!
