We all know what Brazilian waxing is... but, what in the world is Brazilian Facial? Even I got curious about this one of the newest treatments available at Strip Manila so I didn't hesitate to give it a try.
I feel so delighted to know that Strip Manila has opened its newest branch in Megamall. I used to frequent their branch at Serendra though it is too far from where I live. That is how I love Strip! I don't care much about the travel time and the fare cost as long as I get satisfied with the service.
Of course, Jenny has to be there to welcome guests!
Going back, Brazilian Facial is an noninvasive procedure that exfoliates the skin after wax to treat skin concerns like dehydration, dullness, acne and ingrown hair. The treatment uses an innovative machine that targets the and treats problem areas, especially those intimate but often most neglected ones.
There are 3 different Brazilian Facial treatments depending on the concern. Cleanse for acne and/or ingrown hair, Hydro for dehydrated skin, and Light for dull skin.
It is recommended to go for a Brazilian Facial after waxing or IPL hair removal. At Strip, they call it Wax and Polish. Since I have extremely dry skin and I was then overdue for my vajay waxing, I went with Hydro down there.
After the normal waxing procedure, the Brazilian Facial machine will be used on the waxed area. It somehow felt like diamond peel; there was a suction effect that removes dead skin cells to reveal a smoother surface. I was told that there was an ingredient infused to the procedure to make the skin hydrated and moisturized.
In fairness, the waxed area felt smoother and nourished after the Wax and Polish compared to regular waxing. After some sessions, the area is guaranteed to have better skin texture.
The price of Wax and Polish ranges from Php2,500 to Php9,000. Quite hefty for a waxing procedure but if you would look at the long-term benefits, I think the price is okay. I believe there are trial prices available at Strip Manila. Just visit the branch near you!
