Shake Up Your Makeup with POP Beauty

Don't you just love how the makeup brands that are being used and loved by international beauty bloggers and Youtube beauty gurus are slowly finding their ways to our local shores? Just recently, POP Beauty was brought in by Glamourbox to shake up our makeup!

I first learned about POP Beauty when Michelle Phan used the POP Beauty Peak Performance Mascara in her video. That particular mascara comes in a revolutionized packaging that I wished to get to know the POP Beauty more because of it. The beautiful brains behind Glamourbox may have heard my wish because they paved the way to bring in POP Beauty within our reach.

The launch was held a couple of weeks back at Blo Blow Dry Bar, Megamall. Guests were welcomed by these desserts, all topped with POP Beauty fondants.I just need to say this -- the combination of pink and black screams beauty! In my opinion, at least.

POP Beauty is designed to make beauty pop and to help people express individuality with a little punk. Indeed, with right application, POP Beauty products can truly make a look pop!

POP Beauty treated the guests to an afternoon of beautification. There was a makeup station where we had a chance to try POP Beauty makeup products, a nail station where we had our nails done with POP Beauty Nail Glams and a hair station where Blo Bar glammed up our tresses.

As for my makeup choice for the launch, I opted for a smokey eye.You know how much I dig strong makeup, right? I felt love at first use with the Bright Up Your Life Palette in Smokin' Hot. It glides on smoothly and evenly on the lids. Its pigmentation is superb as well. To give the look a little more kick, a good dose of Peak Performance Mascara in Indigo was applied to my lower lashes.

Too bad, I don't have a close up of the look that I had. Should I recreate it and have it posted here? :)

For my tresses, I went with POP Curls. My super thin hair was given volume with Blo Bar's service. It was my first time to get my hair did in Blo Bar and for sure, I will be coming back!

POP Beauty is indeed a brand worth checking out! I am totally lemming for the Brow Shape & Shade that I don't know until when I can hold my patience of not getting it for myself! Haha!
