I know you know that I love my brows heavily defined. Colors and shading are on point, edges are well-sculpted and brow hairs tamed in place. And with that, my idea of perfect brow definition requires at least 3 products -- pencil, powder, and gel. If I have all the time to do my brows, expect me to always have it on my ideal state. Then again, I don't always have time. There are times I am just working with 5 minutes to finish my entire face but that doesn't mean I have to settle with anything less than perfect. I may need to skip a step but still, I can achieve beautiful brows in just one product. Okay, I cheat. It is a 2-in-1 product.
Early this year, I fell in love with the Eye of Horus Ultimate Brow Define (Read my review HERE.). I have mentioned in my review that it slims down my brow routine into 2 steps -- define the brows and keeping the brow hairs in place. The goddesses in Eye of Horus (and Glamourbox) might have heard my silent wish as they have released the Eye of Horus Dual Brow Perfect, a dual-ended brow product that has a pencil and a gel.
The Eye of Horus Dual Brow Perfect comes in 3 shades -- Husk (ash blonde), Dynasty (medium brown), and Nile (dark brown). It is clever to have a strip that shows the color of the product outside the tube for easier reference.
This brow product comes with a slanted pencil on one end and a gel on the other to tint and sculpt the brows. The chiseled pencil end makes brow definition flow like a breeze. This kind of pencil is perfect for starters and for those who don't have much time to define the brows defines and shapes the brows without hassles. It gives off color in one swipe and layering will never be a problem because it doesn't appear waxy regardless of how much you apply.
I am so-so with the brow gel. I like how it grooms the brows in place, however, I would like it to have more tint to color the brow hairs.
Our Dual Brow Perfect eyebrow pencil and gel Duo which sculpts, perfects and tints the brows all in one.
This clever 2in1 product contours and fill in your brows with controlled artistry for perfect arches. Add shape, colour and definition in one streamlined tool, and use the Gel brush on reverse tip to shape for the perfect Goddess brows.
- is dual-ended. No need to bring a pencil and a brow gel because this thing has both in one tube!
- comes with a chiseled pencil that shapes and defines the brows easily.
- gives off an even color with just one swipe.
- is build-able.
- (brow gel) keeps the brows in place.
- does not look and feel waxy.
- lasts the entire day.
- can withstand sweat and oil.
- does not break easily.
I DON'T LIKE that ...
- the brow gel does not have enough color to tint the brows.
Eye of Horus Dual Brow Perfect in Dynasty |
My brows are jet black in color that's why I am bit worried that the brow gel does not have enough tint to camouflage my brows. Nevertheless, the way it keeps my brows in place wins over the fact that it fails on the tinting part.
I would normally just use Dynasty all over my brows but to achieve a 3-dimensional look, I like combining all three -- Husk on the inner thirds, Nile on the tail end and Dynasty to blend everything in.
It sells Php990.00 a pop, a bit pricey comparing to other brow products but considering that it, technically, is 2 in a body of one, I think the price is fine.
Definitely, beautiful, neat-looking brows can easily be achieved with the Eye of Horus Dual Brow Perfect. No settling with anything less than perfect brows for there is one product that could and would definitely make brow defining a breeze!
