A few days ago, I posted this photo on my Instagram page (@jesroque) with the caption, "I can live with just defined brows and a good amount of SPF." And with all honesty, this is the look I groove with lately -- brows and smooth, glowing matte skin. No blush, no contour, no whatever. It takes me just 10 minutes to whip this look, with the 9 minutes of it for my brows. If I still have a few minutes to spare, I will apply a lip color and there I go.
I want my brows to be defined and that is already given. I will sharing an updated eyebrow routine soon. But for now, let us talk about the sunscreen that makes me veer away from face makeup -- the Biore UV Perfect Face Milk SPF50+.
The Biore UV Perfect Face Milk SPF50+ looks like a no-brainer sunscreen. It has a pointed tip opening that limits the amount of product being dispensed.
The product needs to be shaken well first before use to ensure that the layers inside are well-mixed. It goes out as a white, runny, milky liquid that dries into a smooth, matte finish when spread.
On the skin, it feels more like a primer than a sunscreen. It is very lightweight and non-greasy. It gives a slight whitish coverage that is enough to even out the skin tone. Think of how a CC cream works. I can go out with just this on my face. Just don't have your photo taken with a flash because your face will have a white cast, I tell you.
It doesn't claim to control oil, so expect that oil and sweat will seep through in about 3-4 hours. It having an SPF 50+ coverage is enough to get you protected from the intense heat of the sun. Reapplication is needed, of course, after about 5 hours.
I have worn this in swimming party and it stays intact. Love!
Quick tip: Do you want to look good while swimming? Put on a good amount of Biore UV Perfect Face Milk SPF50+, make sure it is evenly applied. Then, dab some tint on your cheeks and lips for some color. Brow definition? Go with K-Palette Real Lasting Eyebrow. Foolproof makeup for you! :)
